My Story
![This is a NEV vehicle](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/229b34_082efd7f731a470eaf11c4d3aa6ce936~mv2.png/v1/crop/x_0,y_0,w_1218,h_844/fill/w_491,h_340,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/Dynasty%20pic%2010.png)
In 2006, while my company was building a seniors housing development in Chemainus on Vancouver Island, I spotted a few of our residents stealthily driving their golf carts between home and Mount Brenton Golf Course. I was aware BC had LSV legislation but almost no qualifying cars existed & regular golf carts didn't qualify.
Dynasty Electric Car Corp was a short-lived Kelowna built NEV. In 2001, the Dynasty qualified as an LSV in 47 states and BC. The car is charged on a 120 volt common plug with a 50km range. On Sunday, September 24, 2017, my mechanic & I proudly drove the same route, with #110, but legally. These Vintage NEVs were grand-fathered in by the province.
